Awarding of Appointment Letters

The National Ceremony for Awarding Teacher Appointment letters to the diploma holders of National Diploma of Teaching (2018-2020) will be held under the patronage of His Excellency the President at the Temple Trees on 16.06.2023 at 9.00 a.m. in the presence of teacher-appointees to National Schools and Western Provincial Council.

Invitation letters have already been posted to the appointees placed in the Western Provincial Council. The appointee should participate in the appointment ceremony on that day, as per the instructions mentioned therein.

If for some reason you have not received the invitation letter, you should inform to 011-2092883 on 14.06.2023 from 12.00 noon to 3.00 p.m.

** For Your Special Attention **

Although it has been mentioned in the invitation letter that you should come at 10.00 a.m. on 18.06.2023 to get your placement letter, issuance of placement  letters has been planned to be carried out in 02 phases.

Accordingly, the placement letters will be issued as follows.

Date	–	18.06.2023 (Sunday)
Time	–	Phase 01 (10.00 a.m.)
		Phase 02 (11.30 a.m.)
Place	–	Western Provincial Council Office Complex, No. 204, Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla

I kindly inform you to make your presence only at the time allotted to you as mentioned in the list containing the information of the appointees placed in the Western Province (Annexure 01).

You must bring your National Identity Card/ Valid Driving License/ Valid Foreign Passport to confirm your identity there.

As the placement letter will be handed over only to the appointee, the persons accompanying the appointees should not enter to the respective premises.
