Our Ministry, which is constantly receiving the attention of every citizen of the province, with a combination of subjects that make a special contribution to the interconnected human existence of Education, Culture and Arts, Sports and Youth Affairs, directly contributes to the cause of producing a healthy, well-educated and well-mannered human being through the Western Province.
Therefore, in order to achieve the vision of our Ministry to become the best facilitator among the provinces of Sri Lanka in the subjects of Education, Culture and Arts, Sports and Youth Affairs, the Ministry is actively engaged in the mission of directing the educational process, developing the sports skills and personality of the provincial community, developing local culture and social development through literary and artistic activities, and regulating the implementation of programs with the participation of all stakeholders to create a group of Western Province citizens who are well-informed.
